I'm a grown man. I know that there isn't a single human being who agrees with and has the same exact opinions on everything as I do.
Denzel said the above, but he's also the same man who stopped in the middle of a pandemic to make sure police didn't pull any fukk shyt on a fellow black man.

Denzel comments doesn't surprise me and he's said those things for years because he has hella family members who were in the military and that are policemen. And I'm sure he probably put that in context but this makes for a headline that gets people's attention so

This a man that helped a homeless breh keep safe from the cops . He had interviews when in LA 20 or so years ago he was profiled by the cops. He has awareness of status quo for black people in America.
Now what people who have contention with his statement disagree with isn't a litmus test for his blackness or anything like that but just disagree with the timing and what not given the climate. The man has helped put on several black actors and has paved a way for other which is more than most can say.
this is not denzel defending any and all of it and i am sure he knows of upstanding officers be it family etc. Hell the brother who was in capitol who saved the Senate's should get the highest recommendation. Hes a true hero.
Yes officers and soldiers are needed end of the day you know what isn't needed though? Cops that abuse their authority and the ones that cover for em. There has been clear infiltration by white supremacists into these organisations and its been patently pointed out.
