He's 100% correct. The priveleges granted to the 4th estate are completely misused at this point.

I mean look what happened in Dallas, we had a major cable news outlet basically telling everyone that a random, law-abdiding breh was the shooter. Broadcasting that information to millions without even the most standard fact checking. All because they wanted to be fukking first. I cant even send an email in my job without ensuring I have the data and fact to back it up.


I said it at the time and i'll say it again, if not for social media that man would have died that day.

Great point! I think it all started from OJ. I remember everyone wanted to be first to broadcast the trial, first to interview irrelevant people so they can be number one. I remember real journalism. He has a great point. That's why I take major news networks information with a grain of salt.

I remember when I first learned about journalism and I remember their code stating having credible and legit sources, no bribery and spreading of false information. Then you realize it's all been corporatized like Fox, CNN MSNBC so the bottom line is about money and ratings.
