Post 2020 isn't exactly his prime. Besides the Mission Impossible franchise and that groundhog day action movie he hasn't had a lot of success in the 21st century.

I just don't see that much range from him as an actor. He's always either a soft-spoken hero (Her, Inherent Vice) or a soft-spoken psycho (Gladiator, The Master, Joker). Not saying dude can't act, he can, I just think they put him over some actors who are much better than him (Leo, Christian Bale, etc.)

I'll be honest though, I also don't like how he comes off in real life, just seems like a pretentious fukk who takes himself too seriously, so I'm probably biased.

Fair enough, most actors are pretentious. He really took it to the next level though with thos acceptances speeches about how he used to be a scoundrel and saving all the cow's milk or whatever the fukk he was rambling about

Maybe I should give dude a break, he was probably nervous accepting. I kinda can't help it though, there's just something about him that I don't like.
