If you like fukkery on the level of Sons of Anarchy then you'll like it. But other than that this show is horrible from dialogue, acting, cheesy soundtrack, obsessive stereotyping,etc.

The thing is, us "crab in the bucket ass nikkas" can rest peacefully knowing "I'm just happy to be here" nikkas will make sure shows like Empire get awesome ratings, thus ensuring black actors will continue to get work making stereotypical black shows. I'm sure Empire is entertaining. Love & Hip Hop is entertaining, but something tells me you would be a lot less eager to run in here Clark Kenting for itI'm sorry that I have just a tad bit of higher expectations when it comes to what my race can accomplish artistically that shyt like Empire or Tyler Perry movies don't quite measure up to

I did watch Sons of Anarchy. It was great the first two seasons and turned into trash. I'm not one of the coli wierdos that watched it and complained about it every week knowing exactly what to expect, but I acknowledged its garbage status. I watched Power. It was entertaining, but I realized it was nothing special and basically only on the air cause they knew their target demographic would flock to it. I'll probably watch Empire sooner or later. I can appreciate a show that's just mindlessly entertaining. That said, I've seen enough instances of brilliant performances by minorities on TV where I'm not content with just seeing black faces. You my breh, but this show is mindless entertainment. American Horror Story is another show, full of fukkery. Not every show has to be breaking bad level quality of acting. I don't think Empire is a bad show, it is just hilarious.
