I dont know why people are acting like this is a big deal...he aint Pastor Washington . You give most people that kind of access to drugs, alcohol, and sex and they are gonna partake. And its easy to go too far when dealing with that kinda shyt. He still here and nobody has said anything about force or kids so

even if he was a pastor. no one is free from making mistakes it's how you carry them and live your life overall that matters. he still made a respectable career and home while navigating his struggles. still represented Black people well. that's what it's about not being a saint in life.

a lot of us derive our values from religion regardless of how we feel about it and the earliest lessons in religion are about judgement of others. Jesus being amongst sinners... and the fake righteous who hide behind false images of being infallible always being high up in the esteem of others. all types of sinners being the first to judge others etc. while the representative of god breaks bread with sinners. yet all this seems to be lost on most Christians. Always worried about image more than character. his image might take a hit with feebles minds for lack of understanding of life but his character is still solid.

Just two weeks ago Denzel was one of the only black actors who was a luminary that you could point to for a reference on character and morals and now he's a gay alcoholic Naw, somethings off.

My thing is normal everyday people do they same shyt. We all got family that drinks, does drugs, or has 10 baby mamas. shyt sometimes is all the same person. And they dont have anywhere near the money, access, or fame that Denzel does. Why would we expect any different from him?
