You are not wrong but once again. I'm talking specifically about tiktok. Tiktok started the doom scrolling epidemic. The app originated in China. The content and addictive nature of the application is toned down in China compared to here because they know the effect it would have on their citizens. Idk why this comment is bothering so many of you enough to quote me. Each time it's "what about this app" or "what about that app". I'm specifically referencing tiktok. It's algorithm to generate short form content specifically. It is very harmful.
Referencing one form of social media and it's impact on people does not denigrate the impact other social media has had as well. It is just a primary example.
