I think he's too small to be a NFL runningback...add more weight and he loses speed...he doesn't have the lower body size/strength either...

If he cant run routes and cant field punts he is not a good fit anywhere on an nfl field. Its a damn shame too he fought through the worst years in MI history and won a sugar bowl. Thanks for the memories but your ride ends here like tai streets and jamie morris :manny:

And if you youngins are thinking "who?" - exactly :umad:

I'm still laughing that he "announced" last year that he was returning to Michigan.

:laff:

Funny thing is, he probably would have been better off had he left!! He wouldn't be exposed in the Senior Bowl now and at least could have been brought into a camp.

Breh...mel kiper last year in his 2013 projection had him as the number 2 or 3 WIDE RECIEVER.

:wow:

he will play in the NFL. He too fast not too. Brandon Banks is a terrible player and has been on the Redskins for 3 seasons because of one punt return.

Banks is smaller and slower than Robinson.

But where??? He might salvage some value at the combine. I expect him to have the #1 40 time...but fast with a (nfl standard) light body aint shyt. He needs to get on that michael robinson diet.

Brandon Banks returned punts and kickoffs for us, and he sucked at it.

The skins also had dude in some pistol plays too at RB.

I dont believe Robinson is a worse player than Brandon Banks.

Denard Robinson not expected to return punts/kicks at Senior Bowl

:whoa: ...its not looking good for shoelace

FAIRHOPE, Ala. -- Denard Robinson says he does not expect to return kicks or punts Saturday in the Senior Bowl. :to:

The former Michigan quarterback, who hopes to make the NFL as a receiver and return man, wasn't among the North team's three punt or kick returners during Thursday's practice at Fairhope Municipal Stadium.

He did appear in one of the middle rows on the third kickoff return unit, which appeared to be the hands team. :manny:

Robinson has struggled in special teams roles this week, especially at punt returner. He fielded 19-of-26 attempts (73.1 percent) in the first three practices, but many of his catches came off a gun. :youngsabo:

Off a live punter, Robinson was the North team's worst punt catcher. :heh:

"That’s the one thing I challenged him on," Oakland Raiders receivers coach Ted Gimore said. "I said once you get home, you have to work on that, because you have to be able to do that. He knows that."

Robinson says he plans to work with Michigan's kickers and punters when he returns to Ann Arbor, and hopes to pick up tips from Wolverines punt returners Jeremy Gallon and Drew Dileo. (if you watched michigan you understand how :scusthov: this is)

"I know I need to get better," he said. "I think I did a little better (Wednesday), but I got to stick to it. It's hard for me to see the ball, but I'll get there. Just got to keep working. :sadbron:"

Robinson was quiet at receiver during Thursday's practice, which was a light 90-minute workout in shorts. He caught 1-of-3 balls during red-zone drills, and was targeted just once during seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 drills.

He dropped the well-placed ball on a 5-yard dig route.

Robinson has drawn praise this week for his athleticism, which comes as little surprise for college football's all-time rushing leader at quarterback. He has used that athleticism to gain separation from more-experienced cornerbacks.

But he's struggled in most other facets of the position, especially with his routes, which remain raw.

its a wrap breh. Big George's needs someone besides Jamie Morris in them adds :yeshrug:
