Even with inflation, the U.S. came out wayyyy ahead of the rest of the world post-COVID. People don't understand that some inflation is good....otherwise your salary would never go up. Deflation/decline in prices is bad. Very bad. People think that's what they want but don't realize deflation = poor economy headed to recession or depression.
When people say "the economy" what they really mean is "my personal banking account." Americans give zero fukks about the economy and most don't understand it. They just want their salaries to double, doing the exact same job...and then want prices to remain flat.

If you have a party who is vocal about telling white men they’re evil, and determined to take things away from them, they aren’t going to overwhelmingly vote for that party, nor are their wives and mothers. Companies are actively seeking to hire women and minorities, on paper, that looks bad to white men. You cannot expect them to sit down, and fall back. Of course they were going to retaliate. White women have white husbands and sons. Do you think they don’t care about their future?
Most of them aren’t saying to themselves, “Yay, we can have an equal playing field.” They think, “I don’t want to lose this advantage, so I’m not voting against myself.” They have the majority, plus support from other races, plus Democrats didn’t do a good job over the past 4 years. You have Americans of all races struggling to feed their families, yet illegals are being given housing and food vouchers for breaking the law. People are seeing videos of people going into stores, filling up bags with merchandise, and getting away with it. That is excellent propaganda to scare folks into thinking that’s acceptable to Democrats. And personally, if I work, and have to pay for things, why should someone else be able to take it for free, with no repercussions?
