Just started watching this with my daughter. We're on episode 6 right ATM. Show is quite good. Great even. The animation style, blending 2d and 3d and colors are super crisp and clean. I like that the main hero, while following the shounen protagonist tropes, certainly has a few twists of what they do with them, namely that he's not a a destined to be the hero, yet whiny get washed fukk for half the series like they usually be. He gets that shyt out the way in a few episodes in and seems to boss up quick, as far as how fast it happens within the show from what I've seen so far. Granted, I know within the show that it states him to having been in training for at least 2 years, so at least it makes sense from that standpoint as well and him not being some overnight celebrity with the power upgrade.
I'm surprised this thread is so small on here. I searched and saw it's been at least mentioned within other general anime threads tho.
