You have to grow up in a Baseball culture to take a liking to the sport imo. I was in Philadelphia when the Phillies were hot and ran the city. My boys liked it. Easy to get hooked. I still watch even though they're trash now

Pretty much. A perfect example is Kansas City. They used to be a charity case and now that ballpark is filled. And now Cleveland can barely attract flies when they used to have a sellout streak that lasted damn near a decade. Baseball is a cyclical bandwagon sport in a lot of ways and it's completely regional. Nobody checks for it nationally unless their team is playing.

It's the percentage of the fanbases.

So just sheer numbers there may be more blacks that watch the NFL than NBA but more blacks make up a higher "percentage" of NBA watchers than football watchers. That's what there saying because Cacs watch NFL waay more than the NBA.

Put it like this. There is 100 people in America. Of that 100, 60 of them are white, 13 are black, and for this conversation the other 27 is everyone else.

95 of those 100 people watch the NFL. Thats 2 white people, 1 black person, and 3 of the "everyone else" that are not watching.

Out of those 95 people, 58 are white, 12 are black, and 24 of everyone else. That proportion shows how many people watch the NFL.

The NBA, lets say 25 people watch, and its 10 white people, 11 are black people, and 4 others. Thats how it works.
