Consider it this way: so many white households watch the NFL that if all black households watched the NFL (and many do) and all the white households watched the NFL, the sheer number of white households watching the NFL in the USA would still dramatically dwarf the number of black households watching. This happens because black Americans are only 12% of the USA; half of nikkas are in prison so they're not watching football; and many many white households are watching football.

It's a population thing, the NFL is by far the most popular sport in the country so the fan base percentages will align closely with the population of the country.

Baseball is dying but soccer still sucks. The main people watching soccer are Mexican type Hispanics. Most cacs won't watch it. The NHL, meanwhile, is barely growing

I think the percentages make the numbers looked skewed. I think more black people probably watch football but a while lot of more white ppl watch football as opposed to basketball. So if you say 150 black people out of 1000 say the watch the NFL as opposed to 45 black people out of 100 watch the NBA that's comparing 15% to 45%. Not sure if I explained that correctly
