At least Bams asked for congressional support, I don't seem to remember the last administration doing that

Got a problem with WWI/WWII? The Korean War? I'll give you Vietnam but let's not act like Nixon didn't escalate the situation even more than LBJ...
I'm talking about Obama getting approval unlike the previous administration, ie Bush. If the vote fails it's hard to see him bombing, unless Assad does something crazy again. If McCain was president we would have been in Syria last year.
Syria gettin that shock and awe treatment regardless of what congress votes. Kerry said it this morning on cnn

Obama can't afford the hit, politically.
And it won't be shock n awe. They just want to lob a couple cruise missles and act like it was a major rebuke to Assad. The problem is that shyt could easily spark a far bigger conflict. This isn't Libya where we did what we wanted, and no one could do shyt. Assad has a decent military and US intervention could throw Lebanon into even more turmoil...then there's Russia. I don't think Russia will do shyt, at least not right away. But best believe they'll invade a country before Obama's term is up, and dare the US to do shyt.

i understand where your coming from when you think theyre two sides of the same coin / both pawns of the elite
and its been ripe to say so
but the dems and repubs are still at odds and trying to accomplish different goals
i still wanna be free like any other , i dont wanna pay taxes , etc
but i think as long as theres never a single republican administration again , we'll be alright
dems feel like we should "lean forward" [its even a motto or some shyt on msnbc] .. and push thru leftist policies [green party]
libertarians want complete freedom or at least way less govt
at this point i think thats what the corporations [that have our society in a gridlock] want as well , though
its something to think about .. why do these mega rich companies who already prey on us suddenly want complete freedom
its like they used the law to get the kind of power they have .. and now its at a point where they want to get rid of the law as part of their end game [total dominance]
and still , it seems relevant to libertarian folks to call dems sheep ...
is obama supporting states rights on marijuana the kind of states rights yall want , or do u want everything to be decided by your state govt [up for grabs for the mega rich/elite]

we could try to get free by overthrowing the govt and stating that we're now gonna live in complete anarchy , "peace"
or socialism and eliminate the cancerous govt / push for green energy / odb / get rich ourselves all day every day .. but i also dont think we can rely on congress
so maybe a combination of both .. thats why i said eliminate bad govt / EVERY department should be looked at as far as what should change / efficiency
its like in school .. policies like having to take courses you dont want or need to take .. i think were put in place to keep us down / slaves to their whims .. but ppl just look at it like thats the way it is and theres nothing we can do about it [largely because of all the red tape instituted (just like required courses) to even try and change anything in the govt]
i think we should march on washington .. remove cheney from the white house .. and actually shack obama up
but we should also expect obama to do everything he can .. not just enough to be remembered for health care ..
he has to remember how fukking slow progress feels for civilians .. that this shyt is real
and like i said do everything he can to be the best president we've had [and maybe even the last one]
