There is no reason why MI, WI dem strongholds for 50+ years should ever have a re pub majority at the state level. This was a systemic abandonment of everything that caused this. A democrat should never lose the upper midwest but that's what happens when you're only about SF, LA and the Acela Corridor.

50 state strategy. Start caring about Detroit and Chicago again.
I agree with you. But I'm not sure where I didn't say this.

Obama once said Dems need to move the suburbs as a joke.

Thats basically it.

Dems live in cities...you can't beat that map.

Clearly we have the popular vote but...

???

Dems lost the popular vote in the national house race in 2010, 2014 and 2016. And their 2012 win was by about just 1 point.

Don't have my hopes but but let's keep it 300. It's clear Russia fukked with the votes in MI,WI and PA

Hillary was up in those states literally the night before election.. it's no coincidence Trump won the election by the smallest margin in those 3 states... No russia hacking and Trump gets mopped up
Russia didn't fukk with the votes, the only thing they are guilty of is leaking compromising information about the democratic party to trump and his team. They also had bots spreading misinformation on social media but I don't know if that's illegal or not.

The polls were not reliable. Hillary was looking at her lead in those key states and decided not to do any campaigning there cause she figured they were locked up. Huge mistake, it cost her the election.

80% of your commentary is basically shytting on pragmatism from the confines of your safe local urban district.
let's be honest, this pragmatic center pondering is why the Democrats are in the position they are in.

This message of "please understand..." is dead.

This new message of "look at trump yall..." isn't gonna get people out to vote either.

Bingo.

Bernie refused to support Ossoff in GA06 and potentially throw him over 51% in a race he nearly won outright before the runoff and even then he barely lost after the run off

Whose fault is that? @FAH1223 you're fukking tone deaf man :snoop:

You're talking about one race.

What about state parties not receiving funds to organize at the local level? How is it possible for the DNC to have raised so much money during the course of Obama's presidency and yet little of that went to the states? Most of it went to other PACs or OFA or consultants. 2016 is another good example of it.

This is a big problem with the Democratic party. This is a good step DNC invests earlier in state parties, voter persuasion but it has to continue

Remember when ya'll chastised me for being upset with Bernie for not throwing full support behind Ossoff in GA06?

The dude won 49% of the vote in a tough district with like 12 candidates.

And this dude is supposed to support us?

This is getting embarassing. Both Bernie and Hillary lost. Let it go.

You can't have it both ways.

You will trot out some shytty poll about Bernie's favorability, yet he failed several tests when it came to special races and where to throw his support in volatile seats!

You don't get the fight you want, you get the fight you have. Bernie has failed to fight several fights with the facts on the ground. He's done that shyt his entire career.

So yes, the DNC has fukked up on several levels in terms of administration and management, but until you accept Bernie's political and strategic flaws, I won't drop this point.

Oh, and stop ignoring the role of anti-Obama racism. It was enough to mobilize Trump voters, how do you ignore this role since 2008? Obama won the White House and could never do enough to keep them for local democrats. Every anti-Obama sentiment was focused on the notion that he was never able to do enough for reasons you and I know why.

Bruh, Bernie is the face of the far left. He didn't go away. What are you talking about? Did you not read this entire thread?
There's more to the left than the far left. And the far left is always going to be a little extreme... that is why they are the far left.

thats not what you think it is
Oh really? :pachaha:

The issues we're talking about pre-date Bernie's run last year. It goes back to before 2010.
