Handicapping your war chest when you’re going against oligarchs who control social media doesn’t seem like the best strategy at this point in time. The wealth disparity will probably be so large after 4 years of Trump that small dollar donations won’t be able to complete with the top .01%
They outraised Trump drastically and still lost.
It does when you have to cater your ideas around not offending those folks. Kamala couldn't even run on price gouging in fear of turning off big donors.

You Know I thought about it and even if the federal government fires all its employees they will get jobs at the state and municipal level. These aren't low wage workers for the most part, they have years of experience and most are college educated.
The only group that will be really fukked are red states that require the most help from the federal government. By removing that workforce they wont get timely service and regulations in place to support them will be stripped.
Like low-key rich Cacs might be fukking over poor cacs more than anybody else just for billionaires to get tax cuts and no regulations.
I kind of want to double down my prediction of a blue and purple state migration and and a migration to self sufficient red stares like Texas that has already been going on.

It wasn’t the money, it was where it went. You should see the latest podcast Carville did with the new republic.
It’s not an echo chamber. The New Republic interviewed him - I don’t watch his actual YouTube channel. He was talking about the Dem’s communication problem because where they spent money isn’t where people get info. He mentioned brothers in Milwaukee getting their news from TikTok for example.
I think it’s insightful in that he was talking about where Dems are spending their money going into 2026 and it’s going to be on identifying where their potential voters get information. But it’s not a must listen. As for podcasts, citations needed is always good. Pod Save America is obviously well known and more insider. I don’t really listen to many podcasts that aren’t just about sports or something culture related tbh. I’d rather read the article because most people involved in politics are pedantic.
