Your mistake is thinking the status quo is the correct direction we should be taking. The status quo is completely bending over to the private sector in silicon valley who is about a decade behind China. Our bet on silicon valleys continued monopolistic direction has led to nothing but less innovation. If one president can weaken our status quo it shows how weak our status quo was in the first place.
