The lesser paying jobs and social science based ones are dominated by females. I work in a female dominated industry, UX. Females rule that field. Every single boss I've had was a female.
Is this post suggesting we need more males in communication? We probably do, but that field is dominated by women. Women rule the social sciences. Is this post suggesting that should stop? I don't know what the solution is. Women are more interested in the psychological and emotions. Women are more drawn to that for some reason. In my masters program I was the only male. In my PhD program, I was the only male. Men just don't like this shyt. That's not to say that women are doing a bad job. They are doing a great job, but it's female-oriented. To reach the masses you also need to address males. There is no good solution. Who are you going to hire? That one male that did a social sciences PhD, or the many other females that also did it, and perhaps did it better. Still, to reach the public, we need men. Men just aren't into the social sciences. Men just don't study that shyt.
