Biden being excited to announce billions in aided to Ukraine and Israel while his core base struggle to pay their bills let me know we were in trouble. Biden was more condescending and less than empathetic towards the average American struggling to pay their bills than helping Ukraine win a wore and Israel complete an genocide

You’re repeating more social media propaganda. You realize we didn’t give Ukraine cash right?

Biden gave them military equipment

We gave them old inventory which cost money. We however have funded billions for new offensive weapons to israel. None of this was zero sum

What was the employment rate in Dec 2024 compared to the Great Recession?
However, the unemployment rate climbed to 4.2%, while the median duration of unemployment hit 10.5 weeks, the highest level since May 2017.

20064.4%Expansion
20075.0%N/A
20087.3%Minimum wage: $6.55; financial crisis
20099.9%Obama took office; ARRA; minimum wage: $7.25; jobless benefits extended
20109.3%Obama tax cuts
20118.5%26 months of job losses by July; debt ceiling crisis; Iraq War ended
20127.9%QE; 10-year rate at 200-year low; fiscal cliff
20136.7%Stocks up 30%
20145.6%Unemployment at 2007 levels
20155.0%Natural rate
20164.7%Presidential race
20174.1%Trump took office; dollar weakened
20183.9%Trump tax cuts
20193.6%Goldilocks economy
20206.7%Pandemic and recession
20213.9%Pandemic and recovery; Biden took office
20223.5%Continued recovery; Fed raised rates to fight inflation
20233.7%Falling inflation

So while the unemployment rate was higher in 2016 and 2020, that doesn't tell the whole story because

When the economy is faltering, demand for and production of goods and services drop. Businesses may either no longer need to employ the same number of workers to meet production needs, or they may not be able to afford to maintain employee levels or a combination of both.

As a result, they may reduce their workforce. However, businesses may cut back hours, reduce pay, or take other measures before laying off workers, resulting in a lag between an economic downturn and increasing unemployment.

Republicans, Russia, China and the big tech oligarchs formed like voltron to save Trump and end the liberal establishment in America, and leftist assisted in it with the constant whining and bytching at ironically the most left President since FDR

You’re just copying and pasting bullshyt. The labor market in 2024 was not the worst since the Great Recession.

Yes no where in the data does it indicate the job market is the worst since the Great Recession
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported this week that even as layoffs remained subdued and job openings increased in October, the hiring rate ticked down to a level not seen since the U.S. was emerging from the financial crisis of the late 2000s.

Hiring ticked down yet we’re at full employment. The fed has kept rates high to slow hiring which they achieved. You’re looking at a balanced market that slightly favors employers. In no way is the job market in its totality as bad as it was during the Great Recession

So you admit this

in 2022-2024 labor has never had more power. It was easy for labor to get ahead with promotions in their current job or to find a new better paying job if you tried.

was a lie then, because these two statements directly contradict each other.
