Unfortunately, dems will not change who makes the decisions until those people die and the people that replace them will be handpicked by the old losers that left. Politics is a business and it's more important to benefit the machines than the people
Dems dont need a name rec person. Just by virtue of being the top of the ticket the person would have the name rec required to win. What they need is to not mettle with grassroots momentum and the electorate and therefore subvert the democratic process in order to install someone friendly enough to their interests that is competitive in an election

The problem with the Democratic Party is they're the type of person that shows up to the barbecue with a white shirt and then gets mad the food is fat sloppy and greasy.
They're the chick in the Dr Dre video gets sprayed with beer and champagne at the end of it.
Until you ditch the old guard of the consultants and pundits who have led you down this path you'll never get yourself out of it.
There's absolutely no reason to be listening to those people anymore.
Hit the streets set up shop in neighborhoods talk to people go to barber shops bakeries and the local Piggly wiggly to start building back up some credibility.
And get out of California and New York.
They keep trying to pick the right candidate for people when the people have clearly made evident who they want as their candidate

It's not that that is what the democratic party is but it's that that is what the perception is
There is a disconnect between perception and reality.
Tbh it began with the deplorables comment from Hillary
At that point, young women on the left became increasingly more vocal and slowly but surely pushed people away.
On the granular level of "trump supporters swipe left" type comments on dating apps to coining stupid phrases such as toxic masculinity, they have been chipping away on all levels towards men associating with what their vision of democrat ideals are. The right has leaned into that by saying The Squad is the face of the left and they are men and america hating women etc
And it's not to say that those ideals are "bad" or "wrong" but it is to say that there is a comms and marketing problem on the left that imo isnt going to be solved because the players are too deep in the game and there is too much money in play

That's exactly what happened.
They found their Boogeyman and women zeroed in on them and made them the example of the entire party.
And the people who whined and complain the loudest got the most attention.
And now the party is just a perception of a bunch of whiny women who complain at the dinner table cause somebody burped.
The larger problem is that there is an inherent association of femininity with being a democrat and that's why republicans gained an age with new voters
Boys who are becoming men overplay the masculinity because they want to appear tough and strong to attract women and show that they arent little kids and can make their own decisions etc.
They dont know almost anything about policy but they do not want to appear soft or gay to the women they are trying to attract

I have no doubt in my mind that MAGA is simply unsustainable. There are way too many alpha males in the room.
Way too many in need to be in the front of the spotlight people that no one will be willing to take a backseat.
Having said all that the Democrats need to simply be more down to business back to basics and ditching the perception that they criticize everyday human behavior all the time.
People are not perfect, they won't get the vaccines that you want, they have inappropriate tattoos and they say words that you don't agree with.
Say what you want to say to one another privately but don't make that a loud voice in your party platform. They're going to now need to be telling everybody who wants to criticize people for perceived bad behavior to STFU
Put that to bed immediately when you start going out to make policies, meet people and try to implement things.
And more importantly they need to be laying the groundwork for when this movement decides to finally eat themselves.
Cause anyone thinking Ron DeSantis and them who are next waiting in line are going to be able to keep this movement are nuts

Democrats need to ditch the puritan politics and operate like the big tent coalition that they are. They also should focus on economic populism and go after busting the oligarchy

Democrats need to be the party of liberty, free will, innovation and compassion. The republicans the party of hypocrisy, selfishness, violence, pollution and just overall filth and disease. Pick every member of the 4 horsemen and make that the pillars of the republican party. Voters may be dumb but everyone knows good and evil and it's not based on subjective morality but objective truth
