Here’s the thing. A lot of these podcasters never started out as mouthpieces for Republicans and were pretty much just trying to copy Joe Rogan or do their own thing. It was a natural progression which makes these types of podcasters be more “real” in a sense to thier audience. They werent shilling messages for Republicans starting out.

If Dems try it now it would look fake af imo because everyone knows its manufactured just to counter balance republicans online influence. Plus a lot of Dems just police their language and the way they talk waaaay too much, to the point their walking on eggshells. Crass jokes, cursing, and edgy offensiveness is just something that Dems currently wont lean into but thats the type of people that have influence online.
