I see both sides of the coin for Andrade vs Canelo as a Canelo Cartel member. Andrade’s size, awkwardness, agility and slickness can definitely cause Canelo fits... but dude really hasn’t fought a killer, and has shown to be chinny , leaves himself open and way too off balance at times. I can’t see Canelo not landing something serious that potentially hurts him once he figures him out.

Truthfully, Canelo figures anybody from 160-168 out after a few rounds and only a blind hater thinks otherwise.

Imma be honest and say, I don’t know who beats him at 175. If he ever goes full-fledged LHW, he would most likely beat Beterbiev, since the nikkas already old and showing signs that’s probably on the decline. I don’t see anything special in Bivol keeping it a stack.

Canelo is too versatile and dictates the fight he wants to make it. Maybe I’m jumping the gun here but I honestly don’t know if anyone currently beats him from 160-175 :yeshrug:

That's a good post.

Beterbiev however is a separate fish altogether in that respect.

He's a big 175. Joe Smith Jnr first, then will relax and fight the Pascals, Badou Jacks of the world for a minute and marinate.

And i don't blame him.

Hypocrite Andrade avoided Lara for the same reason every avoids him.

"Lara don't bring money to the table. Networks don't wanna see him fight cause he's boring. That's the truth"

He could have had Lara and Charlo on his resume but I guess its better to blame everyone else for him being 33 years old and having fought nobody .He is irrelevant and its his own fault..:heh:

“Everyone's Avoiding Andrade” :deadmanny:

At this point other top boxers dont wanna deal with this clown

Not only that but when somebody told him to fight benavidez he asked if he had a title:what:.....when he don't even have a title at 168 his damn self :mjlol:......this is what I'm talking about with this clown. He been ducking big time risks his whole career. If he moved up and beat benavidez he would instantly be a household name. And he knows that. But he also knows if he fights David he's getting put into a coma. Dude has never been willing to put that weak ass chin in harm's way. All he wants is to cash out before he gets exposed. It's only a matter of time before dude gets put to sleep. And when that day comes I'm gonna spend WEEKS upping old posts from all of his dikk riders :banderas:

Boo Boo partly fukked up his own career, partly others avoided him
It's both... I get why Canelo snapped at him, because it was his night and Lara already played this "highjack the post fight conference" shyt on the other hand, the "who you fought" and especially the "terrible fighter" are rather shyt talking than anything else.
Andrade has a poor resume for someone on his skill level but why did Canelo say he never gonna fight him? Did guys like BJS or Plant put more down the table than Andrade...? No, they just hold/held a belt in the division. And then you have guys like Fielding, Liam Smith, Chavez Jr... who had even less business being in a ring with Canelo if we talking resumes. And if Andrade is a terrible fighter what that makes these dudes?

All in all I get Canelo's irritation, Andrade telling him who he fought with a way inferior resume to his but still it seems Andrade got under his skin cause otherwise Canelo wouldn't have replied out of anger that he will never fight him for reasons that are even more true to some of the guys he already fought.

Andrade has an option here, he has to apply for the WBO mandatory spot, just has to announce he's moving up. The WBO supposedly said Canelo would have 18 months fighting Andrade upon Andrade moving up which sounds a bit strange but nevertheless he can try.
Or fight Jermall who seems desperate now to fight a good fighter at 160 and if Canelo or GGG won't work out for him next (good chance of that) he might fight Andrade.

Chavez Jr has got a significantly better resume then Andrade.

I'm not even sure if Andrade would've beat Jr if I'm keeping it a buck.:francis:
Only in terms of who he fought not who he beat
Andy Lee, Rubio and Vera vs Nelson, Vanes, Williams, Sulecki... It's comparable, Andrade's even better by a little imo

if we lump in clear losses too then these journeymen who provide step up tests for prospects and fillers for established top fighters have a great resume too

I don't have any qualms with a potential Canelo Andrade fight. I think it would be a good fight. I also think Charlo, Benavidez, Plant, Golovkin, Beterbiev, Bivol and etc would be good to great fights. So i don't understand the hysterics when Andrade gets passed up for another one of these fighters.

I also think it's disingenuous when people bring up names like Yildirim and Fielding when both fights took place within 3 months after legitimately big championship fights. People are criticizing Canelo for staying active, while defending fighters who have neither faced great opposition nor remained active. It's just not based in rationality.

All in all, Andrade could've been in a lot of great matchups for years now, and not a single one has materialized. The fact that Andrade, who is supposedly being 'ducked' by the P4P #1 fighter in the world, has a comparable resume to the train wreck that is Chavez Jr. would be laughable if I didn't actually enjoy the sport of boxing.

In Andrade's defense, he's not the only fighter at either middleweight or super middleweight guilty of wasting time waiting for the Canelo fight. However, his supporters are certainly the most vocal and tiresome on this subforum.
