Cousins scored a career-high 56 points, matching the franchise record set by Oscar Robertson in 1964 and setting a new high mark for the NBA this season. But it wasn’t just the 56 points. Look at these numbers:

● Seventy-percent shooting from the field (21 of 30)

● Only three free throws missed in 16 attempts

● A dozen rebounds

● A combined 104 points in his last two games played

Then look at this number:

● Hornets 129, Kings 128

Damn that n nikka was beasting. Love that touch around the basket and how he establishes position down there. There were some great post entry passes that lead in there too. 2 things I hate when hooping with folks is nikkas who don't know how to pass the ball into the post and nikkas that don't know how to seal their man when they in post position.

The SG spot is the reason. McLemore is inconsistent and Belinelli has been trash. Collison ends up having to play SG :snoop:

Also Kings 3 pt defense is nonexistent
Spencer Hawes shooting wide open 3s yesterday. Basically daring him to shoot. I mean better him than Daniels but the point is zero defense.

To be fair to Cousins, some of those passes were ill-advised and spoke more about his ability to navigate through traffic and take contact. Throwing overhead passes into the post when defenses are on the verge of collapsing is asking for a turnover. Boogie can make even an average pass look like a gem. He's definitely unlocked something in his game over the last month.

He's usage rate is still grotesquely high, he's certainly on a hot streak right now. But it's not sustainable either.

Main reason cuz they were nowhere near makin the playoffs without him...i aint say rondos their best player read the thread title:stopitslime:
:snoop: gotta explain everything to nikkas these days fukkin casuals out there always trynna twist your words and shyt
:heh:

That's because Boogie missed 23 games last season, in which the Kings went 6-17 without him. In the games Cousins played they went 23-36. Collison only played 45 games, no stability at the PG position and they had THREE different coaches last season. Before Cousins had viral meningitis, they were 9-6 (better win percentage than they have now) against a stronger Western Conference.

Boogie has missed eight games this season - they are 1-7 without him (Rondo played in all those games). The Kings being in playoff position ain't got shyt to do with Rondo.
