The GOP dissuades black people from joining with their shytty policies and constant dog whistling to white supremacists. Black people voting Dems consistently every election cycle is the most logical political positions considering the alternative.

At about 6:25 he starts talking about the Southern Strategy and thats all that needs to be said. If brothas wanna be Republican for some reason, go ahead, but its not a conspiracy. They literally found a way to be wholly electable off of the racial grievances of white people. Add in the evangelical component and the party evolved to push away black people. On the other hand, Democrats flipped, became a giant catch-all party, and has to be the single entity to represent everyone else...while also having right to center leaning folks who also like to take corporate money to this day. Buuuut...Raegan weakened Unions during his fight with PATCO after the Supreme court ruled on Buckley v Valeo and gave away the elections to big money interests entirely, leading to the neoliberal corporate Dem who is just left enough to not be Republican but has to finance his campaigns with big money because Labor was no longer the largest single contributor to Democratic campaigns.

Buckley Decision

Again, not a conspiracy. Republicans chose a lane and they are living it decades later while people pretend Republicans are a viable alternative for...reasons.
Exactly…it’s the “GOP’s conspiracy to keep Blacks out of the GOP”.
