Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines decided to hand out napkins encouraging passengers to give out their phone numbers to fellow fliers after the complimentary drinks were served. Both Coca-Cola and Delta are now apologizing for this marketing mistake."

“Be a little old school. Write down your number and give it to your plane crush. You never know…” one napkin read.“Be a little old school. Write down your number and give it to your plane crush. You never know…” one napkin read.

“Because you’re on a plane full of interesting people and hey … you never know,” another read, leaving space to write down a name and number." Because you’re on a plane full of interesting people and hey … you never know,” another read, leaving space to write down a name and number.

The napkins, a collaboration between Delta and Diet Coke on U.S. flights, did not end in romance, because most social media users found them to be “creepy.”

Both the Coca-Cola company and Delta have released statements about the napkins.

Coca-Cola Co. told the Atlanta Business Chronicle: “We sincerely apologize to anyone we may have offended. We worked with our partners at Delta to begin removing the napkins last month and are replacing them with other designs.”

We rotate Coke products regularly as part of our brand partnership, but missed the mark with this one. We are sorry for that and began removing the napkins from our aircraft in January.”" Delta’s statement read: “We rotate Coke products regularly as part of our brand partnership, but missed the mark with this one. Wait....so people have a problem with a company encouraging them to talk to other people the way things USED to be...

But people have no problem with a company encouraging them to avoid personal interaction and only talk over the internet while their transactions are being monitored by said company and archived in a cloud storage facility??

People really confuse me sometimes...

No, if you're interested in dating someone, go on a dating app and the talking can begin on equal footing. An alternative is to initiate these kinds of interactions in spaces where it's more acceptable, like a lounge or night club.

This idea of "what's the big deal, all you have to say is no and keep it moving" is pretty hilarious because if a gay man came to to you and asked for your number, I doubt he'd get a polite response.

:gucci: He'd get a no and anymore than that would go viral as a homophobic reaction.

Did the sentence make more sense in your head?

To these new age women

This is literally rape

:stopitslime:

Everyone is to sympathise with their struggles but they will turn around and tell us we're wrong for looking at Liam Neeson funny.

They're on the defensive over a man asking for their number. We have to look behind our back for someone looking to bash in a black b*stard's head in because of some story he heard.

It's hard not to feel hoodwinked when seeing white women stand at the forefront of people treated unfairly by society.

This is why I :mjlol: when nikkas think just because a woman smiles at them it means that they're interested :snoop:

For fukkery, I want R Kelly to remix "You don't know my name".

Real talk, when did rejecting advances become such a big deal. Beggars ask me for change every day, I give or I keep it moving.

Same shyt if someone asks for a number. Reject and keep it moving.

What does "keep it moving" look like when the person sitting next to you on an airplane slides you their number and you don't want it but are stuck with them for the duration of the flight?
