Nick Sagan did the same shyt to a player two years ago and no one cared. This stuff with Deion really exposing how many people just started following CFB this year. Because what he said about McClain is no big deal. We see coaches air out players, cuss out assistant coaches on TV all the time.
I was just about to say this. If Nick Saban, Dabo, Harbaugh, etc said anything like this it wouldn't be a problem. shyt is insane.

Wild…..I get everything he’s saying but put dude on the field and see what he can do.

Johnny Manziel didn’t do none of this shyt either and we saw what he did on Saturdays. I’m sure that goes for a lot of other players as well.

Johnny was better than all the other QBs on the roster. This kid isn't and he don't know the plays. You thinking they should just throw him out there is asinine and would be a slap in the face to the kids putting in the work and outperforming him all week in practice. This kid has done nothing to deserve playing time. Easiest way to lose that locker room is to give preferential treatment to a kid like this.
No one should be expecting true freshman to make a contribution
This. There shouldn't be an expectation but if a kid comes in and wins the job then so be it. And that ain't exclusive to 5 stars either.
you can expect contribution from real 5 stars, alabama has routinely got it over the years. isn't caleb downs playing? maybe the 2023 corner class was weak and they felt they had to give a couple of them 5 stars and they both aren't getting any play: cormani and bama's dezz ricks.
There are CBs that were ranked behind those 2 that are getting ample playing time. So maybe those 2 were overrated.

And for the people that think him staying close to home would have served him better I doubt that very seriously. Kid needs a wake up call and he wouldn't get it with all the "yes men" around. If he stays on the current path he looks like the type of kid that'll transfer 2-3 times and never amount to anything and then people will say he should've listened to Deion.

Yall dudes will say anything but anything critical about Deion…

So he’s too small to get snaps vs Nebraska in garbage time but not too small to get in late vs Oregon?

You quote the wrong post? :dahell:

But I'll add the Nebraska game and the Oregon game were two very different games.

What was the difference…?
The Oregon game was over before halftime. Deion had a whole half to empty his bench. The Nebraska game was a game going into the 4th Q, less time to get everyone playing time in that instance. But I'm sure you knew that, really not sure why you reduce yourself as a poster like this when it comes to certain topics. I don't even think you have once stated why you are so adamant that this kid see the field besides you just want him to.

I don't see the issue. He answered the question in kind and I'm sure he said that to the teenager privately.

If Cormani had stuck to Miami, he would’ve gotten some burn during the blowout wins, and then would’ve been allowed to quietly redshirt and put on weight in peace while adjusting to the college game. Ah well.

But he would be on a path of selfishness that wouldn't allow him to grow as a black man.

He wasn't even dressed for the Nebraska game

And because all anyone wants to talk about when it's convenient is Colorado's "lack of talent", If that's the case then there's zero reason he shouldn't be getting 2nd/special team reps unless it is political. It's not like he went to Georgia or Alabama where there is clearly better talent in front of him, He went to a team that went 1-11 last season.

What talent has this kid shown at the college level that you've seen? This isn't high school where he can just go out there and out athlete everybody. His coach has stated he doesn't watch film, he doesn't attend meetings or comes late, and he doesn't understand their schemes. Obviously his coaches don't think he istalented enough to play yet, why does @Silkk think so. What information are you privy to? :ohhh:
