i find African American women to be the most progressive women in the world. I also find them to at the same time to be the most disrespected. Heres the elephant in the room for me.
Im happy these kids are choosing HBCUs. I played football for a power 5 school and love seeing it. But I dont want HBCUs to lose sight of their goal which is to graduate Black students. I dont want HBCUs to steer funding away from the student population to create facilities like I had at OU just to keep the athletic few happy and the cash cow flowing.

Thats my biggest fear.

I dont want that to be the case. If kids going to HBCUs becomes the norm, money will get involved and change everything. PWIs already do a shyt job of graduating Black students while HBCUs understand the needs of who they are and do a better job. I just dont want to see that mission redirected due to the influx of money
