Thing that makes me so mad about this show is that they don't even write some characters out. They just drop them. They wrote KC out but Dave went ghost. Dave was on the show since season 9 and just disappeared for a while, showed up for the funeral episode and disappeared again. He went through a lot of development too. Wesley was just dropped as well. Going back further they dropped Derek without a second word, Blu and Bruce. Chantay by some miracle showed up in season 4 and sporadically appeared throughout the show before becoming a regular in Season 9 or something. That was weird.

Blu was introduced around season 7 or 8. He was Holly J's love interest for a while and then disappeared after cutting his hair. Bruce was Johnny DiMarco's best friend and was introduced during season 7. He got a focus episode where he was jealous Johnny was graduating because he was getting held back. He disappeared after Johnny graduated. He was supposed to fight Spinner when Spinner had cancer.
Chantay is Dave's cousin but she was on the show long before him. Since season 4. She and Darcy broke Paige's leg. She barely showed up during seasons 5-8 or something but became a regular in 9 or 10.

yea, i remember chantay. she was like a d-list character, imo.
really tho, i dont even remember some of this stuff cuz this is when i started tuning in & out. the show was kinda hit-or-miss during that era.

Seasons 7, 8 and 9 are all a blur to me. I can barely remember them. They fukked up by focusing on people that graduated. It made the show unfocused and clunky. I can still remember when people thought season 5 was the end.
imo, they kind of had no choice but to focus on the graduates cuz most of the people still in the school were dry.
