However, I really don't think this was some grand conspiracy to not give Lynch the ball. Hell, before start of the game one of the rumors was that Marshawn had just started negotiations with the Hawks for something like 10 million. They really do want to keep him.

What really happened was we got too cute. "Oh, everyone knows we're going to give Lynch the ball, we should do something else!" It was a play call that almost never happens followed by a pick that almost never happens. A freak accident.

But how dumb do you have to be to walk yourself into that situation and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? We were climbing Mt. Dynasty and fell all the way into Clown Valley with one play call. I'm still sort of speechless, gonna take a while to get over this one.
