Saw this in the theater when it came out. My older brother took me out of school early to go see it, Fishburne killed it in this movie. Dude who plays Cain in Menace has a cameo in this.

aww shyt Me too hahaha Me and my pops watched this at an old theater in Fairfield, CA and stayed renting the tape for years...Got this in the dvd vaults now tho

I always thought that John snortin that blow was his turnin point but now i feel like the reverend (my man Clarence Williams III) was supposed to be like his conscious/soul and after David shot him there was really no turnin back

It was so much harder to find music back then. I would always go to Wherehouse and Tower Records and they would never have Deep Cover.

Eventually I got so desperate that I waited until the movie was on TV, put a tape recorder next to the speaker, turned up the volume, and recorded it.

The remix is even better.
