Posted this a few times during origin war era. From Malcolm Speaks.
His letters from his trip to West Africa in 1964. Talks about the propaganda campaign.
I generally like this forum, but one of the negatives was finding out that most dudes here were cosplay activists and pretend scholars.
YTer filtered propaganda wouldn't have worked on anybody who was half-way knowledgeable about History.
Malcolm X spit so much shyt but the only one these iPhone revolutionaries are familiar with is his "watch out for liberals" quote. If you go to any conservative online space they love to cook up memes like that one, and "MLK was a Republican," "Republicans ended slavery." Knowing damn well what they're propagating.
It's a shame social media has allowed conservatives to disseminate their lies and propaganda easier. It's even more of a shame to see in real time how stupid and easily manipulated most people really are.
it's crazy that Malcolm X is the patron Saint of these phony TLR militants and yet everything about him is counter to everything they claim to believe.
Son of a Caribbean mother and a black American father who worshipped Marcus Garvey. Absolutely detested lost negroes who choose being "American" over their African identity. Spit at negroes who look down upon Africans and didn't want to be associated with them. Saw black power on a global and pan-African scale. Wanted unity between all marginalized people effected by white supremacy.
If Malcolm X were here today hed call thecoli.com a fukking disgrace, hed call all the try hard militants appropriating his name and face to speak horribly about Africa a bunch of lost Toms that want to be white, and he'd call this place an obstruction to any progress of the black race. And he'd be 100% correct.
The fact they can gloss over pretty much every aspect of who he is just to cherry pick some shyt about "liberals" should tell you these cointelpro tactics to manipulate black people and subdue black political power is still alive and well, and we got plenty of agents right here spreading their message.
