It was inevitable this would happen. Its the only real way for the country to move forward right now. Republicans have voted for it in the past too so this was all theater. Its a see through lose the battle win the war type move from Mitch
Mitch lose the battle and will lose the war after all the punk faking and yapping about no gop senator will vote to raise the debt ceiling to slight the Dems only for him to do it at the last minute.. That only shows weakness to the gop base and they will stay home come 2022 and 24

Mitch made that deal to stop any talk of amending or killing the filibuster.

Now Manchin can praise how they worked in a bipartisan way to stop a default for all of eight weeks, and that's the reason why the filibuster should stay in place.
