Potentially, that was our bread and butter for so many years.
We haven’t had a dominant force on the DL since Quinnen left.
Some Crimson Tide casual fans are in shambles right now. BAMA will be alright though for as long as Saban is there.
Whenever Saban decides to retire or move on, whoever BAMA ends up with after he’s gone won’t be Saban and I will guarantee you that, so y’all better enjoy the last of this ride while it lasts.
Very easy to end up being a program like Notre Dame, living on your glory from decades ago or Miami that hasn’t been relevant in a while either.
I said earlier in the year that the BAMA receivers were suspect and the OL wasn’t up to the typical BAMA standard. Dudes laughed at me. I don’t give a shyt how many stars are next to their names I look at the product on the field.
This is BAMA’s first 2 loss season in how many years now??? Saban has set the bar so high that a lot guys aren’t used to much losing or any type of adversity and this is uncharted territory for most of them.
BAMA will be fine and will continue to ALWAYS be in the hunt as long as Saban is there but these other programs are improving too and it’s hard to maintain that level of excellence and scheming when you got other coaches and players gunning for you weekly.
I’ve also said often over the years spread offenses and teams with athletic dual threat type QBs give BAMA teams trouble. That’s why High Freeze when he was at Ole Miss occasionally use to give BAMA teams fits (BAMA usually still won though).
