Show a comic book page where the flash beat anyone's ass not in the Rogues in a one on one fade. The Flash does dope things in his books... but beating peoples asses usually is NOT one of them.

Flash bounced Superboy Prime when everyone else was taking massive L's from him.

So you have no problem with a dude with FTL reflexes not being able to dodge a sword?!?!?!
Wally West Flash has been fighting Deathstroke since he was Kid Flash. That's like Scott Summers not knowing Magneto is gonna throw a fukkin metal object at him.:rudy:

And even if you buy that you gonna accept that a Green Lantern known for his outlandish and creative constructs would suddenly decide to act like a street fighter?:mindblown::camby:

I like deathstroke and I don't have a problem with him beating any of the characters but it has to be done in a believable way. Not where suddenly cats start acting like imbeciles, forgetting their power sets or acting completely out of character for that victory to be achieved.

Behind You
Batman?? These are all sr members of the Justice League and they performed like rookies.. Kyle who probably had the least experience was already WELL into his GL career so that's not even an excuse. Even worse Wally has been fighting Slade since he was kid flash. He's had YEARS worth of experience fighting him and he falls for a sword behind the back trick??? The last thing he would even do is attempt to get close to Slade.

GL trying to punch Slade would have been fine if this was Hal Jordan. Kyle was the artist, the kid at heart....dude was always known for his outlandish constructs. He never was a fisticuffs character. Him trying punch Slade was not only absurd. It's massively out of character.

As for the clues pointing to the Atom it did not until almost the end of the story. (Book 6 of 7) but the evidence should've pointed to Jean right away. She was in Sue's apartment FULLY grown holding the flame gun but she left NO trace evidence whatsover that Mr. Miracle, the Ray, Batman, Animal Man, Metamorpho or the damn Atom couldn't find? .The story clearly states there was no sign of forced entry or not even a carpet fiber was out of place. The sensors in her apartment showed that a door or window was never opened. The walls were lined with "some Thanagarian device that can record if someone phased through the walls. Sue's apartment was equiped with security tech which was Kryptonian, Apokaliptan, Martian and Wayne Tech. Animal Man did not find a scent which clearly is implying that we were dealing with a killer who is not human, possibly magical or has some really really advance technology........ Secondly the Atom, Mr. Miracle or Batman would have and should have looked in the shrinking direction after all of those factors. But the story clearly shows a fully grown person burning Sue and contradicts the evidence presented that nothing in the apartment was disturbed....
They would disregard any physical evidence of Jean's presence in the house because she and Sue were friends. And my memory is foggy but didn't Sue invite her in?
Also the autopsy where they found the tiny footprints didn't take place until later issues of the mini, right? Up to that point they all thought it was Dr. Light and other villains going after heroes' family members.
Honestly the mystery, murders and retcon of Silver Age JLA events didn't bother me that much. My biggest issue was with how muddled the artwork was in some instances.

I reread it this morning. No she didn't invite her in she came in through the telephone.

By the end of the 2nd issue Dr. Mid-Nite deduced that Light couldn't have been the killer since there was no soot in her lungs. She was dead before she was burned.

It's out of character for Batman to disregard ANY evidence especially considering this was a$$hole Batman we were dealing with.

Once it's clear that Light didn't do it they would have NO CHOICE but to track every lead. The story went out of it's way to tell us about the advanced alien technology that was in Sue's apartment and how there was NO physical evidence found by Batman, the Atom, Animal Man, the Metal Men, The Ray or Mr. Miracle........leading you to believe it was a magical being or one with advance technology. However the very first issue of the book shows shadowy figure standing over Sue's body with the flame gun......The fact that Jean did it using the Atom's technology would have been fine if she didn't grow to normal size in the apartment holding the flame gun and none of the technology or the heroes picked up on it..............
