This was a great game. Didn't love how brief the ending was but will definitely start grinding as Julianna and protecting the loop to get a few more hours out of it.

Overall, it felt a bit easy and I was pretty OP towards the end but the art direction and little easter eggs and references in the story were incredible. Happy for Arkane to have taken a risk with this game design and it mostly pays off.

Returnal is still my GOTY though

I think the main challenge for these “rogue-lites” or whatever for me is that they aren’t necessarily hard. Like none of the enemies are tough, this goes for hades, returnal, dead cell, into the breach. What makes them hard is they are games of endurance, like going through the last loop in deathloop wasn’t that hard but knowing that julianna or some bs could catch me off guard and make me do it again is what adds to the intensity and throws you off. At the end i was playing so carefully versus any other time i went to updaam.

I think this game had a good balance with being able to skip time periods and stuff and not just cycle you through the same stuff over and over again, and also gave you a variety of ways to tackle objectives. Thats what i loved about dishonored.

does julianna invading your mission alert externalists to where you are?

cuz I just connected 2 of them using nexus (literally no one was around) and I shifted behind one of them to cut his throat…literally as I cut him the julianna entering your session message with the funky little music comes on and I’m surrounded by eternalists out of nowhere…luckily there was a roof nearby and I shifted to the top of it and picked julianna off smh…I hate this bytch.

updaam…tryna get into aleksis’ mansion/castle…it’s definitely gonna be the most challenging aspect of the game…I need to build colt up some more and follow the other leads and perhaps save that for last

There is an area with two turrets, hack the turrets and wait there once she enters the area. She'lll be looking for you and end up at the roof on the far left building. Just wait in your little spot and snipe her from there, she won't see where the shot is coming from

julianna has become easy to deal with once I get over the initial “panic” of being informed she’s in the session…I just back myself into a corner, hide in a room or find higher ground and then wait…the challenge with that session tho is the overwhelming amount of ppl at aleksis’ party…I can only go stealth for so long before they’re alerted to my presence and swarm on me
