Killed Juliana for the umpteenth time. But now that I'm about to attend Alexis 's party she's fukking me up.

Aether is great for AI Julianna, she doesn't aggro if you're using it. Human Juliannas will see your ass tho :mjlol:

She spawned during the party for me also so I got on a rooftop where there wasn't any nearby enemies and waited for her with a silent weapon and killed her 1v1 before I continued. If you are around mobs she can alert them to you and I couldn't take that chance since there's way too many dudes in there.

Good idea, i figure the AI Juliannna has to pretend they can’t see when using Aether, although mine isn’t upgraded at all so its kind of useless atm

Yeah I got the ghost upgrade so if I'm not moving my Aether doesn't turn off. As long as you aren't straight up in the middle of a gunfight with her, she can't see you.

Good human Juliannas on the other hand are fukking you up regardless. I haven't found an answer for the Juliannas that basically snipe you from across the map and stay at a distance, if I play against those I just hack the antenna and dip instead of trying to play cat and mouse

Yeah, thats what scares me about the human players. I’m just not an FPS player like that, i play this game mostly like dishonored, so when Juliana enters and now i have to play a pvp its kind of annoying. I can only imagine having to play against annoying CoD camping ass players sniping me from across the map

I played last night with the Pulse on, and the sound design on this is actually really good. Soundtrack is pretty good too. The main theme that plays in the menus is a pretty good fit for the retrofuture time fukkery theme the game is going for.

Realistically speaking, I'm probably just going to run with AI Juliana. Eventually, every multiplayer game breaks down to finding and using the most efficient builds. Some of the gameplay decisions that make single player a fun challenge (lack of radar, no autotagging enemies that attack you) kind of make for an uneven challenge for Colt players, despite having the advantage of Reprise. But like a breh said in here earlier, you can mitigate that by closing out that space, since most people invading probably aren't being Havoc in their loadout of they plan on sniping. You just gotta find some way to get close without getting your head blown off.

There is one of two ways to fight off Julianna invasions. Either stay aggresive or get to the highest point you can and figure out where they are camping(because that seems to be what prople do as Julianna is camp) and figure out how to take them out. Turning off the invasions is literally a detriment to your game experience.

Imma be very honest ... I have just gotten past the 3rd mission "the complex" and I'm very underwhelmed

It's not a bad game just seems like ur avg fps

Maybe I'm too early ?

I just switched to rt mode 30 fps I'm going to try that cause the game looks much better

I'd say one of my primary criticisms of the game is that the tutorial is long as fukk (you're still in the tutorial, breh), and somehow simultaneously leads you by the nose a bit too much, and makes the game seem far more complicated than it really is for some.

Once you end your tutorial loop, the game opens up, and is a lot more fun. Once you start getting slabs, higher quality trinkets, and weapons with perks, your approach options multiply.

The tutorial is like 5 hours long lol

But it kinda has to be, this game is very complex

Agreed, I consider myself a pretty thorough dude when it comes to understanding and using game systems, but even I was confused by the tutorial.

Now that I'm deep in the game, I'm still glad that the tutorial is in the game because you need to have a good grasp of time looping to actually beat it, and the tutorial shows you that in action with the safe. Basically you need to understand that knowledge transfers through loops, but not actions.

so far I have every legendary weapon, and i got a bunch of clues and access to different RAKS. I didn't kill one visionary or fight julianna once today.

i also got the password to sabotage the fire works. For a while i was kinda confused as the only hints i had was to kill and take the visionary's powers until i realized theres a whole other layout of objectives.

quick question about the RAKS. Do you have to put batteries in every generator in the basement of the complex?
