He's still good in space though because he can hit shots inside the arc and is a genuinely good passer. Remember how Taj Gibson killed teams out of the short roll all season? This kid can do all the things Taj was doing, except he's bigger and only 24 years old.

I wouldn't wanna put that comparison up just because of how it could be misconstrued or taken out of context. But that's exactly the operating space that I'm picturing for Hartenstein. He'll be a change of pace from Mitch and Sims by working from that spot near the top of the key that Noah used to kill teams out of.

I genuinely expect him to become a fan favorite in short order. A lot of Knicks fans are gonna be pleasantly surprised when they see his game up close.
