I think what people don’t realize is a lot of metal gear is straight from Kojima’s headcannon. MGS is Kojima’s child. A lot of metal gear is just going to naturally show up in everything he does now. Almost his entire adult life has been wrapped up in that one series.

i said to my boy yesterday that i bet for the last 30 years whenever kojima watches a new movie he pictures every lead actor as Snake. It’s also why the thought of Konami making a Metal Gear Solid game without him just doesn’t work.

I joked about that before saying that it would be the ultimately smack in the face to Konami if Kojima basically kept the metal gear franchise going under a different name.

I 100% expect PHYSNT to be a proper Metal Gear Solid reboot and be very obvious about it.

my only worry is kojima is getting old so I don’t know if he has it in him to make another full game series,
