Referred to him as Alize, referencing the line from Tupac “fruity as this Alize”, had him up on his coach doing his toe nails and the repo men come and take his stuff

Utilized his ghostwriter to launch a single release based on his single. J-Flexx was the writer of Dre’s verses on California Love, Natural Born Killaz, Keep Their Heads Ringing

Damn

That video is hilarious. The fact that there were cameramen, producers, videographers a whole production team went into having a ghostwriter legitimately complain about who he was writing for

Sad how death row went out grasping for relevance

At least Death Row had a final banger:

At the time he had a legitimate gripe with Dre since he briefly left the label to go to Aftermath, then went back to Death Row because he never received payment/credit for writing "Been There, Done That". If you look at the credits for that song, Suge got publishing for the track along with J-Flexx.

It's a shame Suge dived back into fukkery after Left Eye's death and not being able to pry Ray J away from Atlantic. Eastwood and Crooked I (and Roscoe if Suge tried to get his contract) could have carried the label on their backs.

By the way, what is Snoop gonna do with this part of the Death Row catalog? :jbhmm:

Hopefully he does a Doggystyle 30th anniversary release that includes unreleased tracks, but doesn't seem like he's going to be doing much with the back catalog with artists not named Daz, Kurupt, Snoop, and Rage. Hopefully he could return the masters to those that didn't drop albums (Danny Boy, Sam Sneed, J-Flexx, etc.) since they could probably eat more off of their work than Snoop trying to release everything.
