You know why this statement is horseshyt? Because musically Ray Charles hadnt been relevant for decades and that Ray movie was a classic and won awards. Can u honestly tell me that the average teen or someone in their 20's gave a fukk about Ray Charles in 2004? You know damn well they didnt but it didnt matter. A good movie was put together and it made noise, thats my point. Thats why the James Brown movie didnt captivate like Ray because it was aiight and not on the same level as Ray. If the product is good enough to cause hype the people will be interested, Ray already proved this.
The NWA/Death Row era was my shyt And yes, I'm tuning in to watch this series but for christ fukking sake they weren't the only ones around in the 90's. .
