I'm still :pachaha: at the two biggest talking points of the last 100 or so posts ("bedwenching" and "the agenda") are things that were present in the movie that the show was based off of. It's not like they threw a curve ball after the show got picked up. Hell the show and movie have the exact fukking name :dead:
lot of the same actors too lol

Episode 5-10 are some of the best written and acted episodes of television I've seen in awhile. Only Atlanta is better.

The next two years are going to be GOAT years for black entertainment. You've got Spike Lee's She's Gotta Have It series, The third season of The Carmichael Show coming on the 31st, Insecure in July, Atlanta season 2 in 2018, and THE BLACK PANTHER CRUSHING THE BUILDINGS IN FEBRUARY :blessed:

I watched it was alright. I found Troy and Coco to be the most interesting despite relating to them the least. One thing the show never got into the basis of Sam's relationship with Troy which I was curious about. I don't have issues with the homosexuality but it felt forced to hook the nerdy guy up with his boss.

Finished it last night. I enjoyed it.

I think they may have forgotten about Sam and Troy. In Coco's flashbacks you saw them kinda touch hands but that was about it.

Liked it. Basically binged all 10 episodes a couple days ago, and like how each episode basically revolves around 1 character's story, and each can be harp back to the previous ones. Reminds me of when they brought Arrested Development back. Cool to see a handful of the characters from the movie are on the actual series too.

Atlanta has diverse black experiences and not a drop of c00ning is in there.
Not even that episode when Paper Boi was :noah: over the white reporter in the Bieber episode

And sams eyes :noah:
If you were on the same shyt Reggie was on, first week of class you heard someone speak out against some bullshyt, turned around and saw those eyes looking back at you, it'd be

pop running out and crying like a bytch made no sense... nicca was in tears within such a low amount of time.
:manny:

Remember the episode Sam asked the pops what would he do if Troy was in Reggie's situation and he said Troy would never be in that place :manny:

Dude heard his son was getting arrested, ran out saw his son struggling with the cops with one of them about to pull the gun out, I can't imagine the emotions that would be running through a father.

I said the same thing...it's just her. I'm on episode 10 now and I still don't like her. She reminds me of that Twitter image of the sister putting up the black fist with her white husband

I also dont like how the show kinda portrays sam as better looking in the eyes of the other characters than the badass brown/dark skin women on there.

Just started watching it. By the end of episode two I said "The Coli ain't going to like this. :mjlol:" It's good stuff so far. I'm eager to watch more of it and see who is in their feelings.

Side bar. Sam is bad though, her eyes are :noah:
