He should though.. or at least he should have handled it in a different way. He essentially held the Mavs organization to ransom. Wouldn't even pick up their calls which just makes it that much worse. His actions were highly erratic and unprofessional.

so... :childplease: your job will fire your ass anytime they want fukk giving a two weeks notice

Hold up...Deandre didn't even take the max:dahellwhat:

80 in Texas is quite a bit more than 87 in Cali:dahellwhat:

Cuban looking like a damn moron in all of this...

You can't lure a dude away from a team where he has beef with a player AND after you factor in taxes they given him less money than you:dahellwhat:

Cuban need to be the next contestant on his own fukking show :yeah ok:

It's funny to consider, but DeAndre never wanted to leave LA in the first place. Dude was like a damsel in distress and the Clippers cavalry had to swoop in to rescue his ass from making the wrong decision.

If there was one player I thought would never even leave I figured it was Deandre, you can just tell dude likes the LA lifestyle way to much to give it up...

Was shocked that the mavs even went after him...

fukk mark cuban i dont feel sorry for his ass deandre did whats best for him he can handle it anyway he wants to
While it's good to 'stick one' to the club owners, you also have to consider that there are players who also made commitments to the Mavs because they felt a player of DeAndre Jordan's caliber would be coming to the organization. That and the Mav's fans who went from being excited about a potential playoff contender to expecting a lottery team now.

It's funny cuz the Clippers still ain't gonna pass him the ball
That's the funny thing. He went on record as 'wanting to be the man' on a contender, but he's going back to a situation where CP3 and Blake are still the main offensive weapons. It's a combination of him being content with his role in LA, and not wanting to open himself up to the scrutiny that would await him in Dallas. Personally I think he chickened out.

You make some points, but if the other free agents started pulling out because of DeAndre then you can bet that the NBA would put a rule in place that would prevent it from happening in the future.

Its so funny watching people on this board give Deandre a COMPLETE pass on this

"He made the best decision for himself" "Players making power moves :takedat:"

OK, all that is well and good but he still bytched up and reneged on his word at the last second, and then didnt have the balls to tell the Mavs upfront.

Sounds like he knew since Monday he was going back to LA, could have at least afforded Dallas sometime to make consolation plans.

He is certainly open to some criticism, I dont understand why it would surprise anyone. That shyt was a circus act yesterday
