Dean Ambrose has been out 5 months, no one seems to care, does he even have a place when he returns?

i personally am not waiting for him. But if he comes back repackaged, it could be interesting.

WWE is too dumb to try tho

He'll come back as a surprise return to save Roman from some random beat down

Then proceed to Dirty Deeds his ass
And we get another storyline about Roman being hurt about the betrayal and say it hurts worse than Seth’s turn. Dean will respond that Roman was handed everything and he had to sit back and watch him call Brock the golden boy while having no self-awareness. They’ll do forced shooty back and forths which will culminate in a decent match on a PPV. Forgot to mention that at this point they would have already wrestled on Raw 3x before the PPV because WWE is incapable of not blowing their load early.

In the end, Roman’s character will have made no forward movement and Dean will get boring again because they’ll be unable to push his heel character to its full potential.

Next. :brostop:

Would be nice if he actually acted unstable or crazy. A heel turn could unlock that, I think. In terms of caring about him? Eh, the WWE title run kinda showed his ceiling.

Meh, I like Dean well enough and I do think he'd get a good pop when he returns but outside of hardcore Ambrose fans I don't think he's particularly missed.

That's not necessarily a commentary in Dean though. For me a lot of that has to do with how crowded the midcard is on RAW. Every "big name" or over guy on the roster (ex. Braun, Seth, Finn, Elias, Matt, Bray, Drew, Roode, Sami, K. O. even... Ziggler, Corbin, and Jinder) is either in the midcard (whether they belong there or not) or thrown into the tag scene. If you aren't Roman or Brock you aren't getting near the main event. Dean would just be another body in an already overcrowded scene.

On Smackdown there's a lot more breathing room (in terms of opportunities and fresh feuds) but like the OP said, he's not really "needed" there. Wherever he goes when he gets back he's going to have to make a lane and with how things are set up with both brands it won't be easy.
