For what's likely gonna be a 60hz low contrast ratio low quality tv that people will sleep outside stores for? No thanks.

Usually black Friday specials are older model TVs rebranded and include one or two new features but majority of the parts are older. Not to say its a bad tv or outdated but there's a reason why it's cheap

You can find great prices year round you just have to keep an eye out on why to look for
Now what features are you looking for in a tv

Yeah, my boy has a TV that has the "soap opera" mode on at all times, I disliked it.

Just get the one that allows you turn the auto motion off. I hate the soap opera effect too.

That's b/c that negro was probably using the "smooth" or "custom" settings for it. When watching tv, I turn mine to "clear" and and you won't even notice it. But sometimes when I had company, I turn on the smooth setting and watch old movies or newer movies (friday, transformers) and I'd be like

Friday with automotion
-noticing all types of posters, clothes, bud in chris tuckers room
-recognized actual products when ezel was in the store (think one was ziplock bags and sos pads)
-deebos drawers were fukking DIRTY!!!!!
-they whole street was palm trees!

-looks like power rangers b/c each robot looks out of place and you can tell that they're cg, as opposed to having that cinematic look



All in all, I prefer it turned down but it helps a lot during sports events.

The best place to research a set is probably avsforums. They usually have good settings for TV sets as well. Don't get a TV and leave it on the default settings, I'm sure you will get a better picture by tweaking them.

Auto Motion Plus, 120hz, etc are nice for sports and games....but imo they RUIN movies and traditional television.

The key is having the option to change the JUDDER and/or MOTION INTERPOLATION settings

On my friend's Samsung TV I had to comb deep into the Advanced Options to find it, but it will make films look "normal" again

Word....my roommates takes like 10 clicks to get to...and resets itself to "AutoMotion" every time the set is turned off
