They are caused by deodorants, but they are also caused by sweat, or a combination of both things. If you don't wear deodorants, you can still get those stains, right?

What washing technique do you use to get them out?

Have any of you invested in those expensive t-shirts that pretty much put a little pillow of pad underneath your armpit so that it doesn't stain through to the shirt?

I don't reside in India or Canada, so this is not a look that I would be comfortable with.

No the aluminum in the deodorant is what causes the pit stains. Has nothing to do with sweat by itself. Just stop using antiperspirant with your good shirts

I personally don't use any antiperspirant and use only deodorant because we are supposed to sweat. It may not look the best but as long is it doesn't smell usually doesn't cause an issue. If you're a really sweaty person tho may want to get that looked at by a medical professional and check your options

Appreciate it. Thankfully I'm not super sweaty. I'll look more into the deodorant =yes, antiperspirant=no.

Use antiperspirant. They are different from deodorants, they help stop you from sweating. Also, make sure you always have clean pits before you apply the antiperspirant.

"It's simple. Deodorant protects against odor, while antiperspirant protects against sweat and odor. Deodorant will help keep you fresh, whereas antiperspirant also helps to control sweat, perfect if you want to avoid underarm wetness."
