Filming Begins On HBO's "Deadwood" Movie - Dark Horizons

Remember the days of HBO not wanting to spend money so genre shows had to get cancelled early ( Rome, deadwood), those days are over, you have #demthrones to thank for that

I know Timothy olyphant happy to find work because he can only play two roles and this is one of them

I liked him as the killer in scream 2

I gotta watch this, had no idea my boy Garrett was on this show

Brehs better watch it with the Tim Olyphant slander. Although Deadwood had a great ensemble cast a lot of folks underrate how he carried that role considering it was not nearly as "show-off"-y as most roles on the series.

All these shows at same time


And then things slowed down to like a great show every 3 years

Boardwalk..

and now game of thrones.. over next year. the deuce which will be over next year already.

Ready to see swearagen dropping cocksuckers and tellin woo to get tye pigs ready.

That run was GOAT level, but they just ended everything. No spin offs nothing. shyt was crazy to me. Cancelled Boardwalk early to make room for Vinyl.

Should of did a wire spin off without the cops. Just focus on black families in that environment.Sort of like "The Corner" but full fledged series with more flossy people and not as many drug addicts. Rome should've went for 6 seasons but i guess GOT holds down that genre anyways. Sopranos should've been spun off into an Uncle focused series set in the 50s. Basically goodfellas the series. boom, i just keep that run going for 10 more years without any hard thinking.

I feel ya. Hbo used to be really special but by being so picky and tryna to push agendas, they ended up falling off anyway. Woulda been better off doing what ya said for sure. They had all genres on lock at once.
