But it honestly starts with the Writers. Better writers, making better shows that blacks and other minorities can star in.

I believe diversity is key when it comes to art. But we Def need to grab that spotlight

Deadline is an online TV/Movie industry news and gossip site. Tends more towards the inner workings of the film and TV industry.
It was started by longtime Hollywood insider journalist Nikki Finke as an offshoot of her La Weekly column (called Deadline Hollywood Daily). Deadline.com was bought in 2009 by PMC (a media company that owns stuff like Variety and Women's Wear Daily).
Finke got booted off the site in 2013 after publicly fighting with PMC's owner for over a year. I still think Deadline has gotten worse since Finke was fired.
