Social safety nets are for the weak, by doing away with them all, it's the markets way of weeding out the weak :myman:

Oh you had a unforeseeable accident where a uninsured drunk driver drive into your house while you were sleeping and nearly crushed you to death and killed your spouse and you're physically unable to work now ? Too bad, maybe you should have been sleeping on the second floor instead of sleeping on the first. Oh you own a ranch style house, you should have bought a 2 story House. Hey you could have been working more and more hours instead of being lazy and bring at home. It's your fault, it's not the govt fault, you're on your own:umad:

Dying of starvation is just the markets way of correcting itself:smugbiden:

In the name Ayn Rand, Ron Paul, and the holy gold standard, amen :blessed:

Can’t believe I missed this thread.

Well yes it’s ok for me to have socialized health insurance because I earned it, so who cares about everyone who would lose coverage if the ACA is repealed. Healthcare isn’t a human right in America. Go to Europe or somewhere if you want to live like a human being.

I kinda agree on the gun safety thing

Gotta teach kids it's not like a movie and the damage these things cause is serious and irreparable
Or we could do like every other first world country and keep kids away from guns in the first place by preventing any old idiot from buying one.

Children won’t have time or money to play with guns if the majority die in mines and textile factories.

You have to understand compulsory education and child labor laws are government overreach.

Exactly. Why should I pay so you can go to school for free? If you want free schooling, the School of Hard Knocks is always admission and tuition free.

I disagree. :stopitslime: The Bible says children are already wise. So why are you asking me to waste their time with redundant learning?

In historical photos children picking cotton and tobacco will smile. Have you ever seen a child smile on the public education plantation? I thought not.

Those children don't sing hymns or pray on the public education plantation either. But they did in historical times, clearly their 1st amendment rights were being violated.
