You noticed that people said, "Rick Ross has great hear for beats" but not talk about his music. Rick Ross doesn't make the beat, he's just pick the beats but he couldn't murder the beats. His songs sound all the same sh!t, rap about the same sh!t, he's not a true musician. He just lucky to be in that era and got popular, the industry just used the system and pimpin him.

its not a classic-there was some filler- but u gotta respect the content and lyrics of the dead prez

seriously, they have never released a classic album but they are one of my fav groups of all time

No. I just have tremendous understanding of Hip Hop. no diss. I'm steeped in history and possess pristine taste. this is a 3.5 mic album. the beats are so so.

i would also give it 3.5 mics or prob 4 mics (just because i got mad love for dead prez)

dont always agree with big mel- but hes on point about this one

havoc00-i gotta ask you what albums did u consider classic this year or last year?

for this year i got 2 classics:

Showbiz and AG- Mugshot Music: Preloaded
Nas- Life is Good

but i cant give lets get free a classic rating- classic albums i can play on repeat w/o skipping a track for hours

but im def not hating on dead prez- one of the dopest groups of all time

album is overrated as fukk. im an african & hip hop both go hard though.

I actually have to agree with this. It's a good album but I don't think it was ever the classic people made it out to be. I like the message and the overall theme though. I also like Dead Prez as a group alot.

Yeah, bruh I'm with you on that. I think some of it had to do with the timing of the album droppin also..... it had been a minute since cats had heard an album like this that was gettin heavy mainstream airplay/appeal.

For me personally LGF was heavy in vein of this album that dropped in 92, first time I really heard the term RBG on wax.
