Have you tried this? Because when xbox had that huge sale recently in other countries they had Max Payne 3 for $5 but it was $30 here
I made a german account and when I tried to download it, it said "that game isn't compatible with the region my xbox is from"
So if this trick is for the japanese version via games on demand?

Well I tried and the directions given are incorrect.
I made the account, even game myself a asian name. My XBL name they gave me was NormalGorilla67 or some shyt

But the steps where you put in Shanghai? I never got that
It created my account, I signed into the xbox joint and it asked if I wanted to merge the gamertag with that email. I hit yes, thought it was all good
When I tired to download the game, it was asking for 3200pts
But via google translate is says its free. Thread Starter, what did I do wrong bruh???
