I don't understand how San Antonio gave up jack shyt and wound up with Fox. They gave up nothing of value to get a really good PG, plus kept all their young players. Hell, they gave up negative value in Collins and Jones; the Charlotte pick isn't real; their pick in 2027 will be late 20s and that Wolves pick is six years from now.

Definitely appreciate that stars move in their prime in the NBA, NFL star QB’s never move (in their prime) and they franchise TF outta other dudes or wait until they’re washed or injured to cut them and let them go to another team

They could have kept the pick with Zach still on the roster... just like how Dallas kept theirs 2 years ago with Luka and Kyrie on their team

This is the type of return that you expected last season when they were basically begging to give him away. Keeping him with the intent of bolstering his value and then still taking this kind of deal is awful

I'm also just now learning that the Spurs only gave Chicago their rights back for their 2025 pick. I'm hearing that the Spurs can still get Chicago's 26 or 27 pick depending on where it lands.

Obviously, there's level to these things, but this is a worse, more bullshyt trade than Luka to the Lakers. At least the Mavs got Anthony Davis in return and Christie is turning into a really good 3&D wing on a great contract. The Lakers actually gave up players of value in the trade.
San Antonio didn't give up ANYTHING of value in this trade and got a terrific player.

if you not getting Castle or Vassell there isn’t a rush to move Fox ..They could’ve got a mid pack this summer ….and you acquire Lavine after you saw that him and DeMar ain’t work the last few years ?
