Ok, because the way it was written was a bit murky in details.
Not biased, have no dog in this fight but I agree with Cotto. He's the A side and you gotta respect it. Does Canelo have faith in his cause and unconquerable willpower? If he does, then salvation will not be denied him. A rematch clause means nothing to any man who is assured of his kingdom.
From what I read it sounds like it is more a promotional thing with Golden Boy than Canelo not being confident in a win. Basically Oscar wants to be able to enter into promoting a 2nd fight regardless of who wins especially if the fight is a good one that would be worthy of an immediate rematch instead of having to worry about Cotto moving on to another opponent.
